Visions is a return to the original idea of Nierty which is to delve into the farthest possibilities of black metal and experiment with its endless soundscapes and messages however we see fit. Each song is a death chant for the most insidious of human natures drawing on the age old dread of what we truly are and will ultimately return to and each an ode to its own realisation that life is a mistake that will always seek to correct itself.

Nierty (derived from the French word for denial) is inspired by the eons of misanthrope that is echoed throughout humanity's atrocious history and blending the obscure soundscapes of early symphonic black and death metal to give form to the most heinous message of truth possible. Featuring (as always) the chilling backing vocals of Archvile and music by Skaven Visions marks a new turning point in Nierty's growing arsenal of cadences

Je ne peux pas m'empêcher de trouver le tag "depressive black metal" assez drôle dans la liste, parce que CLG J02182-05102 procure au contraire un sentiment de liberté presque euphorique assez exceptionnel dans l'univers du black atmosphérique alors même que le chant glacial reste résolument fidèle au genre. Cet album fait admirer la beauté du cosmos avec des titres très dynamiques, notamment "Infinite Density" que j'aime beaucoup et qui résume totalement l'esprit de cette œuvre : très dense ! Another gem from Northern Silence Productions, Aussie one-man act Fathomage delivers relentlessly one full-length a year since 2018. This one is again an amazing atmospheric BM extremely well-crafted composition, suffice to listen to the first 12 min of the album, i.e. the first track, to be fully immersed in a mystical Tolkien's journey... but modern, dark ambient elements make it stand out from the baseline! Quand Mesarthim envoie ses transmissions vers la Terre, nous sommes face à un événement musical d'envergure planétaire. Planet Nine concentre ce que Mesarthim sait faire de mieux et part même beaucoup plus loin : entre le morceau éponyme, tout en variations, qui se permet une petite incursion dans la musique electro (presque psytrance) et "Burial" qui a joue sur des solos de guitares exceptionnels, on est témoin de la fine fleur du black metal atmosphérique et cosmique.
